W&R Pro: Punta Cana bus accident (graphic)

Be warned, this video contains some very graphic images from the bus crash that occurred yesterday in Punta Cana. The bus was filled with tourist in route from Bavaro to Bayahibe for the Sanoa Island boat tours. Absolutely tragic.

Updated: the driver of the bus has been charged with the unsafe operation of a vehicle.

This video was taken just moments before the accident, note the tourists sitting on the floor and riding next to the driver.

The takeaway from all of this is that when you are out traveling in a foreign countries please remember that safety is not always the primary concern of the people trying to earn your money. Always be ready to take a step back if you feel something isn’t safe and don’t be afraid to ask someone to “please slow down”.
